リチャード・リック・ドブリン（Richard "Rick" Doblin、1953年11月30日 - ）は、幻覚剤研究学際協会（英語版） (MAPS) の創設者かつ理事長 (Executive Director) である。

経歴

1975年から1982年まで、フロリダ地域のサラソタで曳家（建築物の移動）を行う Braxas Construction という会社を運営していた。ハーバード大学のケネディスクールにて公共政策の博士号を取得し、幻覚剤と大麻の医療的な使用についての論文を書き、また修士論文は、がん患者の吐き気の管理に対して、大麻の喫煙か、THC（大麻の成分）の服用かについての腫瘍学者への調査であった。彼は現在ボストンにて、妻と3人の子供、2匹の犬と共に暮らしている。

1987年に ニューカレッジ・オブ・フロリダ （英語） にて心理学の学位を取得し、2001年にハーバード大学のケネディスクールにて公共政策の博士号を取得した。ニューカレッジでの卒業論文は、宗教体験を起こす幻覚剤の可能性を評価したマーシュ礼拝堂の実験の25年後の追跡調査である。またティモシー・リアリーによるコンコード刑務所実験に対する34年後の追跡調査も実施した。スタニスラフ・グロフと共に研究し、また（グロフの開発した）ホロトロピック・ブレスワークの施術者としての認定をはじめて受けた最初の人である。

1984年にサイケデリック研究を支援するための Earth Metabolic Design Laboratories を共同設立し、1986年にMDMAをFDAに承認された医薬品とするための幻覚剤研究学際協会 (MAPS) を設立した。

「ワシントン・ポスト」紙の元編集者であるトム・シュローダーの著書『アシッドテスト：LSD、エクスタシー、癒しの力』 (Acid Test: LSD, Ecstasy, and the Power to Heal) にて、彼の生涯が紹介されている。

幻覚剤研究学際協会

リック・ドブリンは、1986年に創設された非営利の研究団体幻覚剤研究学際協会（英語版） (MAPS) の創設者かつ理事長 (Executive Director) である。彼の専門家としての目標は主に処方医薬品として、しかしまた健康な人々の個人的な成長のための、幻覚剤や大麻の有効利用を合法的に支援することであり、そして最終的には合法的に認可されたサイケデリック療法家になることである。
