The Last of Us Part II adalah video game aksi-petualangan dan horor kesintasan [1][2] yang dikembangkan oleh Naughty Dog dan diterbitkan oleh Sony Interactive Entertainment. Permainan ini diumumkan pada acara PlayStation Exprience pada bulan Desember 2016, dan berfungsi sebagai sekuel game tahun 2013 bernama The Last of Us.[3][4] Trailer pertama permainan mengungkapkan kembalinya Ellie dan Joel, dan berlangsung sekitar lima tahun setelah game pertama; pemain akan mengambil kendali dari Ellie, yang merencanakan pembalasan dendam setelah tragedi yang terjadi kepadanya, dan Abby, seorang tentara yang terlibat konflik dengan sebuah kultus.[5]

Pengembangan The Last of Us Part II dimulai pada 2014. Troy Baker dan Ashley Johnson akan kembali peran-peran mereka sebagai Joel dan Ellie, masing-masing. Cerita game ini ditulis oleh Neil Druckmann dan Halley Gross.[6] Gustavo Santaolalla akan kembali untuk menulis dan melakukan skor.[7] Bruce Straley, yang bertindak sebagai direktur game The Last of Us, tidak akan kembali untuk mendirekturi Part II karena hiatus.[8] Aktris senior Indonesia, Christine Hakim, terlibat dalam bagian ke dua ini, memerankan sebagai ilmuwan dari Universitas Indonesia bernama Ratna Pertiwi.[9]
