Selat Hormuz
Selat Hormuz (bahasa Arab: مضيق هرمز—Madīq Hurmuz,Persia: تنگه هرمز—Tangeh-ye Hormoz) adalah selat yang memisahkan Iran dengan Uni Emirat Arab. Selat ini terletak di antara Teluk Oman dan Teluk Persia.
Pada titik tersempit, lebar Selat Hormuz hanya mencapai 54 km.[1] Selat ini merupakan satu-satunya jalur untuk mengirim minyak keluar Teluk Persia. Menurut U.S. Energy Information Administration, setiap hari 15 kapal tanker yang membawa 16.5 hingga 17 juta barel minyak bumi melewati selat ini.
